  1. Woohoo - just had a terrific close-by flash, and loud thunder! Hardly any rain at all so far... EDIT - Here's the rain!
  2. That works It's moved off away to the east now, headed your way!
  3. Ely is probably getting a hammering too... Good luck, still loud, crisp thunder and lightning here as the storm cell heads east...
  4. It's hard to tell atm if its CG, it's been in torrential rain, decent hail too. The thunder is still ongoing .
  5. Thundering here in St. Ives, several rumbles per minute!
  6. I saw a rotating updraught earlier at about 12.10, as I was leaving home for work...
  7. At last, it's sorted. Uninstalled, rebooted. Reinstalled, rebooted... Voila! Very Best Wishes, Bob.
  8. Eek! Guess who had already installed it as USB... I've tried the utility included in the Weatherlink support folder to convert it back from USBXpress mode, but that didn't do anything at all, and failed . Very Best Wishes, Bob.
  9. Hello, I've just purchased a Davis Vantage Vue, and wish to use Weather Display. The Vantage Vue has a USB data logger. Can anyone please tell me how (in Weather Display) I need to configure the setup? Thanks in advance.
  10. Lovely images and video chaps!, wish I could make it over - but wife and kids I could not tear myself away from
  11. Still nowt here either, apart from nice little Cumulus cloud...
  12. Can you then flick some of them on further east please?
  13. Lol, so glad I moved away from Bristol - with that lot approaching, I wouldn't be able to cope
  14. Evening, I hope the mods will move to an appropriate area, instead of deleting ... I'm looking at purchasing a Boltek LD250, and Nexstorm software. If there are any users on here, what are their thoughts on it? Thanks! Very Best Wishes, Bob.
  15. Morning everyone, We went to Didcot yesterday (those who are interested in Steam will know why - no, not the power station!). On the way back we ran parallel to a rather nice looking cell which was probably south of Cambridge. Some shots are here:- http://www.flickr.com/photos/bristol-re/ Very Best Wishes, Bob.
  16. I'm glad you enjoyed the storm we laid on for you!
  17. It certainly hasn't exploded in this part of St. Ives, all I can see / hear is a nice storm heading towards St. Neots, producing quiet thunder!. I've not seen any storms here this afternoon. I did see a Tornado heading Northwards in Peterborough earlier though
