Thunderstorm over Boston Lincolnshire at moment, a strike a minute at the moment. Very nice. -
Terribly sad news for all . My condolences to the families. We should also remember that people like Tim , his son , Carl and many other don't do this for fun. There is a real need for data to attempt to determine why one storm drops and another doesn't. The legacy for these men is heard every time there is a siren . The time gained by the work of these people has saved countless lives. That should never be forgotten. And neither will they. Descanses en Paz.

Taken evening of Monday 27th May 2013 over the Spanish Costa Blanca resort of Calpe (20 kms north of Benidorm) Some heavy rain and localized hail, but no lightning as far as I was aware. -
