Since 15th September we have not had one day without rain of varying amounts and intensity and thismorning is certainly

Once again we are cut off for the 6th time already this winter, airport closed and ferries tied up!!
Gusting to Violent Storm Force 11 with continuous heavy rain, we are expecting Hurricane Force 12 before nightime,
any bets on what we will get up to ??

Pressure still falling, now down to 976.
Wind has dropped back to 50 to 60 mph as the centre of this very intense Low gets nearer to us.
Expecting a rapid rise in wind speed as it veers round to Westerly in the early hours.
At least the rain has eased off.

Heavy Showers with Thunder and Lightning tonight, the strange
thing is nothing on the lightning detector, am I seeing and hearing things maybe ???
