Lightning radar map shows strikes nearby, but all I see is grey sky.
*sulky face*

We had drizzle for the whole morning. Just overcast now with the odd brighter spell.

I saw council staff picking the berries near my parents doctors on Weds. Must have had more sense than yours...lol (although I don't think that is classed as working). It is dry here today and I am just recovering after the weekly grass cut. A few light showers dotted about. It canrain now.Dry tomorrow please as we are at the Little Gransden airshow. There was a bumper crop of blackberries along a school playing field near here, and in time honoured fashion the council have hacked it all back ready for the new school year just as the harvest was ready to collect.

Storm in far NE London. My dad text hoping to see the Lancaster bombers fly over and moaned he got a storm instead.
EE should get some of the storm.

I did see a flew flashes from it in the end and my camera failed to capture another forked line across the sky. At least I got to see something.I see brighter sky coming now.that was a cracking storm, some decent hail mixed in too, will affect Luton airport I would have thought..

Just had a few rumbles and then a fork across, rumble. Then silence. It is/was just south of MK.
-
Just rain sadly, looks like the storm part of this cloud has died out.
-
There is allegedly a small storm drifting my way. I can see the dark sky and see the dots on the lightning radar, but I can't hear any thunder.

Lots of beautiful storm clouds spotted on my journey around the eastern M25 and southern M1 a couple of hours ago.

I have heard three distant rumbles in east London. Set to go out soon, so hope I have an excuse to stay in and watch a storm (and hope my mum doesn't scream and scare my toddler...lol)

Ear plugs and eye mask? Hopefully you won't get anything. It is so calm here (in eastern London). I am looking forward to a storm, but here at my parents, my mum is scared of them like you.http://www.estofex.org/cgi-bin/polygon/showforecast.cgi?listvalid=yesNow I'm really scared :'(

Finally some rain in MK.
(and a couple of distant rumbles of thunder)

I have given up hope of anymore storms up here. Have missed a few 20 miles to the north or south over the last couple of weeks.
I am actually looking forward to the rain as we have only had a couple of light sprinkles in weeks, not even a shower.

Blue sky with scattered cloud in MK, although I can see a wall of high cloud to the east. I hope it stays there. Pop up storms welcome though (but it feels too calm).

Low down is the Peterborough (ish) storm. Not an exciting pic, just surprised to see the top of it.
