  1. Going very dark, radar shows about 15 min of something inbound. Temp 4.1c.
  2. Sun out here now, temp responded a bit and is up to 4.9c. Gritters reported seen out and about earlier.
  3. Sleet/ snow now stopped and brightening from the west. Temp still falling at 3.2c.
  4. Rain earlier turning to sleet/snow, temp dropping from 6.8c at 09:45 to 3.7c currently.
  5. I managed 16.3c at around 16:45. Still 15.1c at 23:15.

  7. Still snowing, temp down to 1.6c. About 3cm of snow.
  8. Hard to tell but the low pressure area seems to be moving due east rather than SE ?

  11. All snow here now and starting to stick. Temp 2.8c.
  12. About 50% snow here now. Temp down to 3.5c. 5.1mm precipitation.
  13. Still sleety rain here. Temp down to 4.1c from 5.0c at 15:30, quite breezy with 16 mph gusts. 4.2 mm precipitation so far this afternoon.
  14. I will pop out a bit later and see if I can find a spot out off the wind lately I have been setting up a video camera and filming any activity while staying in the warm
  15. Storm arrived here, it's passing straight over with thunder/lightning and spout overflowing. Taken the satellite signal even though i have a bigger dish fitted to the sky + hd box.

  17. Was somebody wearing red/pink in the vehicle, it might be an internal reflection from the windscreen ?
  18. Has been a lot of thundery activity here for several hours with intermittent downpours, satellite signal just been lost which has not happened here since fitting a bigger dish three years ago.
  19. Here comes the rain, temp dropping 15.9c, wind now SW.
  20. Sunny intervals and dry here in Stafford, looks as though things are moving this way :good:strong breeze from the ENE, 18.7C, steady 1001mb. Too much low cloud to see any approaching thunder heads.
  21. Shipping containers, which were installed at the washed-away sea wall which carries the railway line at Dawlish, south Devon, as an emergency flood defence, have been breached leaving homes vulnerable to flooding. The containers, which are full of ballast, had been welded together as a temporary flood defence in place of the broken sea wall. Homes in the town have also been evacuated as a precaution, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
