    Unfortunately, accepting "trolling" is part and parcel of holding an accurate weather record that others can't or are never likely to match, and you will most probably find that these are competitors/ weather companies with too much time on their hands because of the way they choose to forecast (lazy meteorology)ROLF

    I got a question. Why are a few people on here and over threads saying about the possibility of snow in the SE, and it even settling, but the Met office, BBC weather etc. don't show any? Is there just some dreamers on here or are the Met office/BBC missing something???

    Got a quick question. Whats the chance of Friday Low moving just a bit more north, bringing 60-70mph winds widely across SE

    Although the problem could be with such a unpredictable storm it could change really at the last minute AND could strike in the middle of the night. There are still instances where the MO etc get things wrong, so I would never rule it out

    They really ought to be careful about this one, just because they got last week right doesn't mean everything they say will happen. They may have got it right last weekend but everyone will have '87 in the back of their minds if/when we're told this one won't be as bad

    Sorry I don't understand, are you saying that its unrealistic for the Express to say that, or that its unrealistic that its going to happen Just unrealistic but I don't believe it that Daily Express is just winding you up with loads of rubbish haha

    I dont think this storm will be as bad, although if theres the slightest chance of it then it will be forecast for a million times larger hurricane force or all that over crap. They dont want a repeat of 87. Although it would be quite interesting if they didnt forecast it and then it happened, one week complaints about warnings for something that didnt hit them, then a week later complaining that there wasnt any warning

    Up to 10am. Great, should be easily here for rush-hour, happy I'm not going to work/out anywhere tomorrow morning! Also a chance of 70mph winds. That certainly will change the risk of trees falling etc

    Although its this not in its final stages over there is it. They're is so much uncerntanty about timing etc and people getting confused with stuff nothing related to it. Some people saying last friday that it was windy and must be the 'storm on its way'

    I know, goes all mad and then calms down. I went outside 10 minutes ago and just turned straight back inside as the wind and rain was to much. Just stuck my head out of the window and its calm. Although is blowing a bit more now I've said that -_-

    The ground outside is so soft, there are still many leafs on the trees. I think this storm still has to potential to do some damage, although might not be the 'Apocalyptic' storm that the media was hyping up. We will find out in the next few hours how strong and how disruptive the storm is for the south and south east

    Just starting picking up again. Just had a huge gust. Rain really picked up again. Is this the start of it for us
