Nasty thunderstorm here in Hayle now with lots of thunder and lightning, bursts of torrential rain and hail and squally winds. It's lasted over 20 mins so far.

Here in Hayle we are in the middle of another big shower with thunder, lightning, heavy hail and very squally winds. The Velux window that I,ve been watching it from is now completely covered in hail.

Wild, wet and windy here too in Hayle, (gusts 69mph on St. Mary's at 0600 and 59 at Culdrose). The met.o NAE forecast of a sting jet for the early hours was good.

This morning we had heavy rain, hail and a few rumbles of thunder but now we're in the clearer showery conditions behind. Temperatures have been hovering around 5C .
