  3. from the met office Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Saturday, sunshine and showers at first. Band of persistent rain and hill snow spreading eastwards later. Sunday, becoming drier and brighter, but rain overnight, clearing to blustery showers on Monday. UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Mar 2014 to Thursday 13 Mar 2014: During the first week of March conditions look set to continue to remain unsettled with further showers or longer spells of rain. The heaviest and most persistent rain most likely across northern and western areas, with some snow possible, mainly over northern hills. Windy at times, with a risk of gales in the exposed north and west. Some drier and brighter periods are also likely, especially across southern and eastern parts. Temperatures generally fairly normal for the time of year, with a risk of overnight frost and icy patches in quieter interludes. Through into the following week, conditions are likely to remain changeable with further wet and windy weather, but there are some indications that conditions may become more settled later, especially in the south. 5. Probably will end up with rain in London as usual , it's 13.5 at the moment and sunny. Further down ground for tomorrow expected.
  6. I thought the daily toilet paper (Express) would have, 'big freeze', headlines today, because we might have some sleet on Friday, it had this instead. I guess it was a slow news day! %2
  7. The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for snow across the East Midlands in the early hours of Friday morning. The warning states that snow could fall over higher ground between midnight and noon. It is unlikely that any snow% will settle on lower ground. Stupid cut and paste
  8. I think you might do well out of it perfect storm, but for London it will be one snow flake that melts before it hits the ground.
  9. Sounds like the snow could be a non event for London as usual, but better north of Watford. What's north of Watford, never ventured that far into the wilderness?
  10. Looks like the little bugger who steals all my nights every autumn. 10.5, sunny, light winds, I WANT SNOW
  11. Is the media bias towards southerners? There seems to be a lot of disgruntled people out there regarding the recent flooding who think that it only became headline news once the Thames was affected. Here is an extract from the views of weatherweb tv's Simon Keeling, 'The Somerset levels were getting coverage of sorts, and the damage wrought on Abersytwyth, Borth, Barmouth and other west Wales towns had got a few shots on screen. But when the floods reached the Thames, it was 'game-on'. My non southern friends agree with him 100 percent and say that the government only started acting once the south east was affected. This is creating more divides between north and south. It's the media and government's faults and I agree that they have a bias towards the south. London weather by the way......if any one cares 13.7c winds windy, south westerly, sunny, pressure all over the place. Becoming generally awful later as always.
  12. sorry i thought you said you have a tongue piercing , they make me cringe for some reason, oh ...............and the jet stream could be pushing back in next week

  15. Ghost busters was a work of art. Haven't you heard of the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man? oh and the weather in london is blah blah blah
  16. Is the media bias towards us southerners? There seems to be a lot of disgruntled people out there regarding the recent flooding who think that it only became headline news once the Thames was affected. My non southern friends agree with him 100 percent and even go as far as saying that the government only started acting once the south east was affected. This is creating more divides between north and south, but we are not to blame. It's the media and government's faults ..................honest London weather by the way...... 8.7c winds windy, south westerly, showers....generally awful, pressure all over the place.
