    I'm not from the area originally, but I live in Tameside right next to the M67 and in the BFTE we got a lot of snow.

    Just drove to Salford Royal and back, i noticed areas around sale/Trafford still had lying snow in shaded areas and on golf courses. here higher up in my part of Tameside its all melted, apart from the hills. I'm just in the snow warning, so maybe will see a few flakes.

    Absolutely vile weather. Duvet day for me. These grey dull days are really affecting me atm. As much as I want some snow, I'm yearning for spring and sunshine now. I Hope that those of you that are essential workers out and about are staying safe! ?

    Stunning morning walk on the Werneth Low. My crazy springer spaniel was skidding all over the place on ice

    I got quite excited this morning when the rain turned sleety and there was a met office upgrade west. But I only had about 20 mins snow, followed by light sleety mess. Miserable day.

    No frost in hattersley, car said it was1c. 2 minutes up the road to the Werneth Low, its a winter wonderland...

    Doesn't look too icy here, about to take the dogs for a walk so will see. Looking at the snow in Spain its amazing. Madrid is buried. My boyfriend is spanish from a city called Zamora and he says snow is rare in his city, its snowing and settling there too. Here's hoping we get more snow in the coming weeks.

    About a cm here in hattersley. Drip drip going on already. Still another snow fall, and nice to take the dogs out and not end up muddy.

    Sunny day here in hattersley, no snow overnight sadly. I have just seen a met office video on twitter about the snow tomorrow, it looks like it has a bit of a gap over greater Manchester like the last one did...
