Earlier this morning, the outsides of all my windows steamed up; I'm guessing there was a very rapid rise in temperature and/or humidity?
I thought it was just me seeing this. It has been a notable feature of the last few weeks, as I've observed this on a number of occasions - more than I can remember before. I thought it was the new windows we had installed in the summer!
Nearly 21.00 on 21 October and outside temperature is still 17.6C. Max today was 19.2C

Nice surprise little thunderstorm here, and torrential rain!
Yes - have just been in the car, and the heavy rain on the roof was deafening and roads were starting to flood, even after just a few minutes. We momentarily hit 29C in the garden mid-afternoon, before quickly dropping away again.

Well seen some cloud today which is 'different'....air definately feels more humid however google saying that humidity is only 20 % for my area...how is that??
I noticed exactly the same thing - my Davis weather station was reporting humidity of only around 35% but it still felt absolutely stifling compared to yesterday. I wondered whether something has gone wrong, but it's now up around 60% which seems a lot more sensible...

Notable the length of 32c temperatures right down on the Sussex coast.
3rd day now as the NE wind keeps the cooling sea threat away.
Intact as hot in Saltdean as Hither Green this afternoon as I headed home.
Around 35c on the car thermometer passing Gatwick.
Yes, 33.2C the highest for us here along the coast today.
Just returned from two weeks in the Inner Hebrides. 16-17C with a fresh to moderate breeze with occasional rain. Today's only the second day I've taken my jumper off...

We've just had a sudden and dramatic increase in wind speed and direction - gusting 15-20mph from the SW. Came out of nowhere.

26C at 7am. Our low last night was 21.4.
Quite a significant breeze today, although it feels like a hairdryer.
