    Apart from the Jul 2015 storm, last night's storm was the most active I have witnessed in the UK. Second cell hit and the house literally shook. There was a particularly very strong pulse of rain, with lighting and cracks of thunder over us, followed by about 2 minutes of hail, pea sized. Way too much water for the drains to handle. Literally a monsoon flowing, with hail floating on top. Wish I could have got a picture. Today does feel very humid.

    Only got 2-3cm snow here in Uxbridge and all of that by midnight. Park looks good though

    Hi all Was snowing here when I work up at 7 and had started to setting. Continued snowing until at least 8:15, when I left to head into London by tube but by then no snow was settling.

    I was in France for this and had clear skies. I've attached a photo I took on the day

    The best I have seen was the eclipse in 99 in France. Totality with the pink streamers showing all round the sun as it was at sunspot maxima. I saw the Leonids in darks skies above central america but the peak of the storm missed us there otherwise that I think could have been as good or better. Mike
