Snowy you are becoming my local news reporter. I live 10 mons from Detling lol but we have loads of road closures here.

I am in Maidstone wishing the storm would visit me. Sadly i do not hold out much hope at all

Wind is indeed back. But now seems sustained its like a constant rumble now

Gone eerily quiet here gusts died down. This is my back gate and it landed on hubbys car.

I would trade the blizzards and snow for the strong winds anyday. I lost tiles on my roof a ragstone garden wall was knocked down and the full length curtains i washed and left on the line vanished in 1987. Was scariest thing i have witnessed. Since that storm i have been very unnerved when it comes to high winds.

All Schools in KENT EAST SUSSEX MIDDLESEX to name a few are on half term this week. Thats quite a lot of kids off school. I hope Eunice does not arrive. My builders have just git upto roof plate height on a house i am building and if this storm arrives as predicted i fear for my newly built walls.
