winds definitely have become more persistent and stronger now, been hearing it howling outside my bedroom window and it's quite cosy tbh.

spring is definitely close by, seeing those spring shower cumulus in the sky being all a bit puffy but can bring a quick shower.

The weather been a bit of a teaser towards me the last 3 days (except the 10th as i was elsewhere) the days in the morning here have been sunny, so when i've had my lunch I want to go out and chill out in the fields facing the sunshine as others have said it has some warmth to it now so it's quite nice. But the weather is being cheeky where the last 3 times i've gone out to go to the style, the cloud comes over and blocks the sun preventing any sort of warmth from coming through leaving me with bitter cold hands and a freezing body. i'm surprised i'm not ill. I just hope we get an actual sunny day with cloudless skies at some point.

looking to be a better day then yesterday, already got more sunny then yesterday and i've just woken up. hope it continues to be a nice day for my birthday

so much for the "sunny spells" down here in the southeast today, had about 10 seconds of sunshine early 11am and nothing more, just disgusting boring cloudfest

went for my "walk" as i say going to my style relaxing and although the sun has warmth to it, when it goes behind the cloud my hands turned into icicles (this is with me still wearing my winter set with thick coat, scarf and hat). So i wouldn't say it's outdoors relaxing weather for me yet but nice enough to have a trip around the area.

I would've taken some pics but the clouds weren't bubbly enough here for me to have an interest to take any, just a few fast passing showers with the strong wind

well I think this month is going to make up the dry January we've just had

just woke up about 30mins ago to some heavy rain but now it's all clearing, hoping the cloud at least goes away though I really wished the wind would pipe down!

went out to my sitting fence in the fields yesterday and actually had to take my hat and zip down my coat as I was getting quite a flush in that sun. I hope it's our time in the southeast to get that sunshine as it sure as hell wasn't the sunniest january on record down here with about a weeks worth of gloomy skies.

if february is going to be like this where I am in the southeast then i'm happy for the high pressure to stay, so much better then the middle of january where it went from clear skies to gloomy featureless skies for days on end making people's mood so miserable.

This is why this was the last time I would be looking at the charts in the model output thread during the winter, sometimes the people in that thread make it a battlefield into what THEY want to see which 90% never comes around. Spring is a more interesting time to me as it can be a battle between warmth and cold which makes the models more interesting imo depending what comes around.

exactly, I thought nature was giving us the sunshine we didn't have in december but it seems she has a big hatred towards us for a long time now which some of us doesn't deserve

if only the high pressure kept the clear skies it gave us went it first arrived

Went to feed the ducks today and it's the first time since november I was able to sit outside doing it as the sun still has some warmth to it, much nicer then sitting in the car and having my thick coat over my legs also went through a footpath that me and my dad were curious to know what's up there and unfortunately not much besides a golf course

another lovely morning (as I say waking up at 10am) and I hope this continues with the high pressure we're having over us right now and no more overcast crap

been a while since i've seen almost the complete south covered in rain on the radar

another lovely sunny morning again, I hope this is for the making up of the atrocious december, though prefer it to be summer right now ( high twenties to low thirties) instead of winter

lovely start of the day (for me) with clear blue skies, if we don't get any snow I want it to be like this until spring arrives, it will be cold but it's definitely better then the dull and overcast weather we've been having.
