I did go to bed with Met0 giving me thunder everywhere today, back to light rain. boo

ugh back to hot sticky weather. MetO showed thunderstorms for my area this weekend. but *gone* sigh

They are all lovely. My daughter and I have 3 days left of ours. Sunny and warm here.

needs to be said that *normally* i have at least heard some thunder by now here and nothing. It rained, but i doubt we had totals some members have. Seems everything bar drizzle, fizzles out by the time it gets here. Not even a home grown storm either. The cloudy rainy coolness doesn't worry me. I just wish if i have to go through 30c i get a storm at the end of it! Just cloudy, muggy and a bit of rain coming. Although i'm isolating for 10 times with my daughter so there's no school run to worry about this week (second time this term)

Summers down south used to be great. Saw my first funnel cloud over the downs, remember my dad shouting at me to 'come out and look' and it was high in the clouds spinning away. Amazing clouds over the sea. Lucky to get one storm here now.

OMG YES! I remember this. There was certainly a day I remember when it got dark enough for the street lights to go on and it made the news. I don't remember the storm we must of had.Quite the experience none the less!

It's good that the weather has turned, just found out our boiler is playing around as the heating wasn't coming on But on that notes, 20c is warm enough for me. Lovely out. Did someone say THUNDERSTORMS?

I can remember the storms in the 80's. As I lived on the coast we had right humdingers. One that sticks out was one evening it pretty much thundered all night and was still at it when we were packing our car to go on Holiday to Devon at 5am. We stopped at a services a few hours later and the sky was amazing. Full of Ac Cas. I never seem a sky like it and i wish i could taken a picture. Perfect white turrets.

How is being able to sleep at night, grim? Loving the fact I don't wake up in a pool of sweat.

It's raining. Quite cool so i need to dig out a jumper. not expecting any thunder.

I will say it was very very humid this morning. Tropical. I normally love humidity which is odd as i hate heat, but it was awful. felt like i was walking thru a blanket. very sticky.

nothing here last night apart from that overcast meh you get after a storm you didn't get.

well at least my friends down south got to see a storm. Nothing here.

from cloudless sky to some cloud and the breeze we have had all day is turning gusty at times. Still feels nice out. Didn't come back from school a sweaty mess.

It was a beautiful walk to school today, clear, light but not too cool breeze, comfortably warm. If only it lasts for the day! However it has proven an excellent drying day so washing everything in sight. Always love this time of year, watching the storm forecasts, so the next few days will be heaven. Feeling much better from my jab now and treated myself to a few things and the small hope of hearing some thunder at some point.

yeah My end of Bedford hasn't done well, but we usually get at least one storm a year.

dreadful nights sleep, bedroom 29.2c even with all windows open and our new air cooler fan. Woke up feeling awful as did hubby. Lovely this morning. Nice breeze and pleasant, was a nice walk to school today and it's nice to finally start wearing the summer stuffs i brought for going outside.

just cloud here. Not worried too tried to worry if the heat will keep me awake or not later

But Bedford hasn't?!? Not here anyway, everything seems to break up.
