Your welcome bucksnow

Just got back in the office, great news for some with the yellow warning, complete wind up for others !
-
Ive just seen shafernickers forecast on beeb web, yes some areas may get a bit of a dusting, possiby something a tiny bit more than a dusting.
-
Minus 5 c here, crispy and maybe a hoar frost somewhere local.
Great to hear about the snow falling for some of us and still hoping for tomorrows snow here
-
Im not looking at anymore charts or forecasts until tomorrow, currently 0 c here hoping for a really good frost, see you all tomorrow
-
Im going to put a black roof slate on the patio and take a picture of 1mm deep snow.
Accumulations still dont look significant which is a real shame but, we are all used to it.

Ive just watched the video forecast on the beeb web and those white graphics do look nice !
Might not happen / might not settle / might happen, lets hope those graphics dont downgrade, we can but hope
-
Agree with John snow, a dusting in the south east would probably prompt a yellow, due to population / stressed out infrastructure etc. Im praying for that yellow !
-
Saint im just having a little tickle thats all.
Just a shame how many times we can miss out by a whisker

I sincerely hope the enitire population of this region dont all get stitched up. That would be a gross injustice.

If anywhere reasonably close to me gets maybe 20 mm i will take a drive out, just so that i can see it before it melts away !

Heres something for my fellow south easterners:

Ive just seen that I might get -4 and fog tomorrow, that could produce another hoar frost for me, brilliant
-
slim risk of 20mm snow is better than a kick up the bum.
But, frankly is this the best we can squeeze out of winter so far
Ive had just 2 photo opportunities so far, patterned frost on the car and a hoar frost, which was very pwetty.
Friend of mine on facebook now booking for scottish highlands holiday next winter..............

Just looked at the latest gfs ppn charts, lol.
Does this sound familiar to anyone:
If we get the cold we dont get the ppn.
If we get the ppn we dont get the cold.

Yep im taking the forecast with a whole bag of salt, just nice to see a slim chance of some wintry showers
-
Meto web from my desktop, triple checked it to make sure i wasn't looking at an old forecast.
-
Great to hear this guys, just checked the meto for Ware (up the road from me) and showing sleet starting tomorrow and light snow from wednesday night to friday morning. I might save the image and 'bank' it on my desktop.

Still 0 c here, not what I expected but happy with it
Lets hope someone like steve murr turns up later with more info on wednesday, whatever that might be...rain or snow or dry ?!?
-
Daniel, we had a few flakes here last night, they are frozen to the patio stones !
Yes Wednesday holds a bit of excitement for us, lets just hope the meto update with good news.

Morning all, we have frost and 0 c here.
I see our region is likely, possibly, maybe to be stitched up again on wednesday.
-
There is a snow symbol for you at that time so maybe yes.

Of course not saint
'Chat' is a friendly term though.
I have ramped and hopecasted in this thread quite a few times, its harmless to be honest.
