Woah your model forum material butt so yeah your right .

Im just connahs quay nomads but your like Everton or Watford - premier league but not right up there with the champions league big hitters .

I agree with you and anyone who has said anything negative towards Derek should hang their heads in shame .

Come on guys this is a weather enthusiast forum leave him alone ?

Yes he is right and though the post has been removed (thankfully) anyone suggesting using Twitter as a medium for abuse should hang their heads in shame.

Not everyone (in fact, very, very few) in here has the interest of viewing the models "to work out whats going to happen" from the same scientific point of view. Many of us just want snow, many of us just want to watch the charts evolve as a cold spell approaches.

Rain is something we see all year round, gets a little boring watching the models to see when a bit of rain and wind is going to move in.

Not if you're going to be directly under a 'bit of rain and wind' and suffered the devastation that flooding can cause.

there's certainly a risk of fleeting snow/ice/freezing rain around before it all turns to rain by midday tomoz

I'd agree with that and as it's hovering around 3c at the moment, not the 7/8 as forecast by the BBC earlier, I can see some problems tomorrow. Very icy where the shade hasn't lifted today and no grit anywhere.

  5. Pleased to report there must have been a microscopic chink in the snow shield over Coed Pen Maen in Pontypridd last night. Admittedly it's as sparse as my Nan's dusting of icing sugar on a cake but it is SNOW.

Still hoping for a repeat of the late 70's/80's - but it's faith that keeps me going! :yahoo:

    well I wouldn't say 100% but maybe more like 99.9% lol:D:cold:

I try my best to see it like it is but with snow I can sometimes be ever the optimist - but as I get older, more experience enlightens me to the various possible set ups - I certainly try my best anyway - thanks for the compliment!

It's been spot on today but snow forecasting is a nightmare as the 3 weather apps on my phone show all different temps, heavy/light or no snow it's a nightmare. You're more than welcome to the complement too :D
