  1. Thanks Paul , I've just been going through the thread, some great pics on here already.
  2. Having not posted on here for ages, I guess it's time to get involved again, here's my first from what was a great sunset tonight...
  3. Sure, I know what you're saying. It certainly looked like a severe storm judging by the lightning symbol on N-W radar image from that time.
  4. Sound like a really good storm to have witnessed, mind you, the report there does say "Daylight turned to night in a matter of minutes", I think any cloud blocking the sun would do that at sunset.
  5. Well done Wibs, I definitely like the different layers you have in that picture, it deservers to win.
  6. lol. If I don't win, can I merge the total votes from both pictures ?
  7. I'm so chuffed that 2 of mine got to the final vote , there were some really good submissions this month. Wibs got my vote (very nice and tranquil), though it was difficult as OON has captured a really good weather subject and I like the action that Essan has managed to capture and nice colour in Weathermaster's picture.
  8. I'm going to go with the following 5... Wibs 2 Shuggee 1 OON 3 Kelly f 1 weatherbitez 1
  9. Thanks flagpole, I did make some tweaks to the Raw file on import to Photoshop, a circular polariser helps on the second shot, these were taken on my Canon EOS 400D
  10. Here are my 3, trying to keep it bright and colourful as it's certainly been Spring-like this month...
  11. Possibly a Yellowhammer? Google Image Search
  12. Snowing hard here now and settling, all I hear are sirens, a few people being caught out I guess.
  13. ha ha, nice one Andy, keep it Wiltshire! Sorry, not voted for you though, but great scene nevertheless, My votes are... Tommy 1 phil b 2 JC 2 Hebridean 2 Essan 1
  14. Here's my first for this month, taken while down the New Forest on Saturday.
  15. Here are my first 2 for this month, a couple of local landmarks (not so much snow on these stones) Salisbury Catherdral in last weekend's mist and frost. Quite surprised nobody else was there to take a piccy of Stonehenge on Thursday morning, shame I was getting use to a new camera and it didn't come out as good as I wanted it to. Oops, didn't resize first image and can't remove now
  16. It was a difficult month to catch something other than cloud and gloom so well done all, my vote is as follows... smich 2 Ross B 2 Phil B 2 Coffee23 3 AS 1
  17. That was really quite exciting and very close at times. I was chuffed enough last month making it as a finalist but to win a month is great, and when up against some great shots too. Have a Happy New Year all!
  18. Thanks for everybody's votes, I'm really happy the picture was enjoyed and some further great photo's submitted by all.
  19. I suppose the only way to reflect the bland boring weather is a bland baron landscape to go with it so here's one of the middle of Salisbury Plain.
  20. I was hoping to get a few more shots this month but my camera's packed up and is now if for repair so here are a couple of snaps from earlier this month, the calm foggy weather kinda seems out of place now.
  21. All very good, here's my vote... P3 3 Kelly F 1 HD 1 Coldfingers 2 Phil B 2
  22. Some great pictures being posted again. Here's my first for this month from last Sunday morning, had a great walk, the weather was crackin'!
  23. Well I might as well submit another 2 to make 3...
