Well how much more excitement can a man take!......temperature has dropped to a bone chilling 3.6 deg c with the Nirvana of hardly detectable drizzle....I am alive with pleasure now!!!
Well I have to say i'm surprised...there is about 0.5 cm on the road at the front of the house and nothing in the back garden...was snowing fairly heavy for about 15 mins but main band has passed over now....
Wednesday looks very good on 10 day and snow forecast IMBY on 00z run...unlikely to happen though...hope it shows that 6 hours beforehand...
Yes, will be embarrassing for some....I think this is exceptional though...the weather just wants to let us know that we are not even close to the understanding of the complexities of it....I for one can't believe the very exciting prospect of the Opi index would be so off...it's going to be one hell of a February if their -ao prediction is to come true
Yes indeed........I must admit I was allowing myself to get excited with the model output earlier in the week.....been brought back down a little now but have to say that cold and no snow is better than mild rain
Thanks S....been in the MOD thread and strat thread mostly (most of the time no clue about what they're going on about!!). At least we have a fairly accurate weather station page on Wellesbourne airfield to check the actual temps. Most of the time it's 2 or 3 deg c above what the forecast says.
I know where I am is only 47m asl but every time snow is showing on the meto forecast it either ends up being cold rain or snow clouds miss Wellesbourne by a mile or two......
