Light covering of snow overnight and light snow falling at the moment.

Before and during the snow this Afternoon.

2 Hours of Snow now, with a nice covering of Snow on the hills to our East.

Light Snow just starting to fall on the western side of the Yorkshire Dales.
Hoping for some nice Snowdrifts like we had in Feb 2005.

A 15 minute snow shower giving a slight covering at around 4.00am.

Ive just ventured out to get some photos, but i had to turn back very quickly.At 500ft there is very little snow.but within minutes in the car the conditions deteriorated so bad that at 800ft it was a complete white out with heavy drifting snow.Yesterday the drifting was quite bad but today it is far worse,in some places the drifts go completely over the top of the walls.

Less cold air now moving through my area with any showers turning more sleety.
