Meto forecast Has my area with snow from 6-12pm.
Hope that's right, all I want is a covering, doesn't have to be anything special lol

Was thinking the same looking at the radar. Think it will take something special to give us a hope in seeing some if any lol.

Hi all, my partners daughter has just asked an interesting question that I really cannot answer and thought maybe one of you might have the answer!
She asked about hail vs snow: what makes something fall as hail instead of snow when they are both cold lol. What happens in the air to make the difference?

EURO4 is an upgrade though the feature looks and light in nature.
I would love nothing more than to gain the knowledge and be able to actually read the models and everything else available to me, I just really don't know where to start and in all honesty I doubt it would go in if I tried.

Ok well now I have got the face on, meto have removed my lovely snow symbols from early hours of Sunday morning.
All this up and down and for what! Where is the coldies reward for putting up with a week or so of shockingly confused outputs

I really hate the fact that no one has a clue as to what is going to happen!
I would rather know what to expect then I can get over the disappointment or get really giddy whichever way it was going to fall!
The mod thread is giving me a headache and I'm sick of reading "more runs needed" just wish it would be nailed on one way or the other. Really frazzling my brain but cannot keep away!
@Kentish Snowman I really really hope your hunch/gut feeling is right! I want the sledges out lol

In all honesty anything could happen. Even the models aint got a clue, the professionals that are paid to work it out don't have a clue either!
So in my eyes anything is on the table and up for grabs.

Still all to play for! there will be many changes each run and I expect upgrades by Sunday! Winter is trying to get to us to give us SNOW but its having a little game with us first!
Let's hope there are plenty of upgrades, that's the first time this winter I have seen METO forecast snow for our area and to forecast that much I can't help but get giddy.
I just hope it plays out like that (or better) as this past week has been interesting but tireing with models and all the uncertainty so I think we really do deserve the snow haha

Yes dry is good for the areas that need it the most!
But from a imby point of view it isn't wet through or water logged.
I simply made a statement about MY opinion and where I live and what I would like!
Yes its tragic for the flood affected regions and can't imagine the misery they have Been and are going through but the fact some areas are flooded should not stop me being entitled to express my opinion on what weather I would love to have IMBY

I'm Deffo not expecting to see anything to be honest, I think a measly 99m asl really wont be enough, think it might be time for a move...any suggestions? haha.
Oh well hope the areas lucky to get the snow enjoy it!
