BBC are going for a similarly cold night tonight...
"Sunday night
A few showers continuing near north facing coasts. Otherwise dry with variable cloud, long cloud breaks in places allowing another chilly night with a local ground frost."
The past two nights I've slept really well... certainly looking forward to Winter now!
So then, did someone here get any ground frost? Some rural pockets of Shropshire did... and surely the area around Sennybridge did too!
Post here your temps for the night of 30th/31st August...
Here it's 11.0*C and clear. Frosts may be possible tonight for me!
Could someone tomorrow morning post all the official lowest temps please?
So you had it relatively warm compared to me in cold Shropshire! Much of the day it's been 12-13, now it's already down to 11 and I wouldn't be surprised if we had a few frosts over the coming nights too. Yup, Autumn is here, in Shropshire at least!
Yeah we will have more high pressure... but it will mean frosty, cold nights and warmish, sometimes sunny days. Things are definetely different now we're approaching September!
