    Unexpected snow flurries here in Hexham over the last couple of hours giving a very slight covering. Temp 0 degs.

    Just spoken to the Wife in Hexham total white out heavier than the 3rd Jan which is saying something about 3 inches and rising fast. If it freezes tonight as forecast god help us. Wish I was there but need to put a loaf on the table.

    Well Well just taken me 1hr to get back from Tesco in Hexham Tynedale roads covered traffic skidding heavy snow we have now got over 4 inches and its still snowing. This has been quite a short sharpe blast whiteouts on and off all afternoon temp 0.0 and falling.

    Well what a nice surprise 2-3 cms here in Hexham temp 0.3 and lots more coming up the Tyne valley in this direction. An interesting 18hrs ahead.
