Just seen that, presumably for the impact this will have on rush hour later on? Won't be much rushing done today I wouldn't have thought...

Are we in for some snow tomorrow and next week then? Was hoping the relatively decent snow cover we had yesterday would have survived to the weekend so the kids (well, me!) could enjoy making snowmen when I'm off work but the rain and wind from last night here has got rid of it all. If there's more snow on the way tomorrow then I'll be one very happy bunny...

A lot of rain here now, looks like the taps are fully open and they won't be shut off until nearly midnight. Winds not that strong but those are coming tomorrow in place of the rain.

A good inch of snow in East Kilbride this morning though the roads seem to have been pretty well treated for once so no real problems getting out to Paisley for work. Just a very light dusting of snow/ice on the pavements here in Paisley.

Quite intense hail showers this morning, looked like snow from outside the window but stepping outside the front door to the car confirmed it was hail. Lying quite thickly in EK and wouldn't be surprised to see quite a covering of actual snow when I get back home from work this afternoon.
