Another 1C drop here in the last half hour.
Its now -1,9C with a dewpoint of -4.4C.
Looking more like it.
Also my weather screen on my 'weather pro' has just switched from rain to snow for the forecast, as the pressure has started to drop like a stone.
MIA.
Yes pressure drop noted and temp falling still. Looks intense over Ireland on radar. Ah the suspense!

Just had a quick peep at the radar right ho.
Temp here 0 and falling still. No real idea what's going to pan out tbh. Setting alarm for early maybe. Good luck all

Light snow here now. Cheeky starter and not forecast

Hi guys...
Just started to snow quite moderately here.. so they are still getting well south of Bham.
Looking at the Radar they are still moving pretty steadily SE (instead of SSE as per yesterday), so more of us in the more central areas could see them before they move off to the Peak. District later
The showers are still packing into the Cheshire gap and they should reach here in 2 hours.
MIA
So some may get a starter before the main course tomorrow
0c here and what the 10 minute snow shower left last night is still on the ground. Looks and feels like winter a bit a least.

Blue sky in Wolverhampton Game Over !!!
Maybe not, Radar shows showers from inbound. Might be unlucky and head too far South. Fingers crossed eh?
-
Really sunny here now. 1c and a slight breeze.
So what are the chances of those showers popping up on radar meandering more Eastwards N Warks, South West Leicestershire-ish??
-
Stop start light snow currently and temps dropping. Can see a heavier band of precip inbound on radar - Way west of me but think might get under the edge...cast offs from Brum area. Hopefully a few more surprises today - enjoy!
-
1c and light snow kicking off here. It's a startNow for a big dump
-
3c ish and clear skies here. Feels proper cold now. Notice the difference from earlier- wow! any ppn inbound expected early hours. Patience

Yes Meto warning area extended eastwards a smidgen. Still think it will be heavier West and North of Brum. Looking forward to snow reports!
-
Looking ok for Friday, might be better to the West of my location.
First proper snow for ages! Just two more sleeps away

Most definitely getting interesting, closer and more reliable timeframe now but still little shifts making a big difference. Looking very good IMO
Saturday streamer maybe??

Light snow on the Beeb app 1am to 5am Friday. If only!
Need to see how quickly the fronts move Thursday into Friday and how quickly (and deep) the colder uppers spread south. Still not really resolved on the models maybe.
-
First weather warning for snow Friday to Saturday on Beeb App. Yay.....mentions Scotland a lot in the text
-
Friday 6am
Still a long way off and not likely to actually verify exactly but c'mon! Certainly heading for real cold at the end of week and for a few days after that.
-
@MattStoke that is quite a result on the Netweather App! Is that the one with data taken from the GFS? Had snow for my area on the BBC/Met office app earlier but gone now. There one minute, gone the next.
Really hoping something for the whole Midlands at the end of week. From reading between the lines on the Mod forum might be more on the way...
-
No expert but having already seen a little bit of snow last week I feel confident anything can happen. I guess now the models are showing cold at least we might have something exciting at short range. Keeping tabs on Thursday wind and rain as well!
edit- also did not have fantastically cold uppers and it still snowed and settled (a bit!)
-
Light dusting of snow overnight for my location then. Nice start to December! Down to -1 low.
-
Very light sleety something falling now, can see in streetlights. Really light though. Woot.
-
Hello! First post for me (long time Netweather lurker though). Not sure how much precipitation will make it inland today to reach Midlands but definitely keeping watch. BBC have me down for light snow later so will have to see V cold today though for sure. Down to 2c

Fluctuating around 0c here. Still have snow cover so no big thaw yet.
Forecast -9c overnight A little confident that the snow cover will stick around for a little while longer. Looks quite a event across the region, best seen for years!
