  1. WillinGlossop WillinGlossop Posted 1 hour ago Location: Glossop Derbyshire 300m asl 6c now drizzle… two hours clearing flower beds and tidying up drive/beds/plants… picked some daffodils … jumper wash… new shower taking shape… hopefully finished and usable by Friday… 2 hours of prepping the door frames for glossing, two washes done and the rest of the dry stuff put away. Nice your showers taking shape. Beats standing in the living room getting dripped on.
  2. Almost dry and sunny. Just a rogue shower from across the Pennines about 30 minutes ago. Amazing how much better you feel when that ball of fire is visible.
  3. cheshire snow yep snow to lower levels but accumulations at higher levels. So yes, it depends on our interpretation of what is high and low level.

  6. Its very dark out. Must be a really heavy shower. Oh I forgot, I'm in Standedge tunnel.
  7. Morning all on another wet, cold and grayish morning. Off to York in 10 minutes by train. £8 return for 4 of us. Cant do better than that.
  8. Sleety showers have now reached Hayfield. I've just done a drive to New Mills for the weekly swimming.
  9. Never in 20 years of living here, have I seen the plant borders completely submerged.
  10. Dry and reasonably sunny for the last few hours in Newcastle. Just setting off for Stalybridge. Looks relatively dry back home.
  11. Morning all. Yes....Grey and wet. We are stuck in a rut. Just waiting at Stalybridge for the Newcastle train. Yeah, let's head East and chase the rain.
  12. Weather-history Thats what you call dry humour... I'll get my coat. Anyway, morning gang. A breezy, grey , sunless start with a few showers passing. I can vouch for the rainfall. Every container outside is brimming.
