I'm not sure it is, could be overhead lines arcing as the insulators get bridged making a path to earth.
On a side note, I stuck my head out of the front door and could hear geese honking !! Navigation Cat IIIB ?
Had cleared the drive this afternoon only for the last shower about 10 minutes ago just dropped another 3/4 " in 15 minutes.
Looks to be a long shaped shower stretching from Lancaster to Bolton heading towards Oldham and on the southern edge me.
Further more that circulation heading down from the West of Scotland looks to be heading through the North West and into the Peak District.
Anyone else see that track?
Snowing again in Hadfield with more showers brewing and an area of more organised precipitation moving south though Lancashire and Yorkshire.
The Irish sea Snow Cannon may be lining its sights up for another assault from the North west too.
