Finally something noteworthy of reporting
Moderate Squall Line just passed through here bringing fat , juicy drops of rain pounding the roof.
The winds didn't pick up too much but they did a little. All in all just happy to see some cool weather again.

Please remove this post if needed but I've looked all over the gallery and can't find my old profile picture I uploaded?

Wind moderating here but taking it's time, still gusting around 50mph.
Which charts were showing those wind speeds that far south?
Agreed.
I'd say gusts barely reaching 40mph for a short period of time here and when the worst was expected it felt like a normal day with a slight wind.
-
It's 8.C here right now with intense gusts (force 7) and drizzle.
Missed the intense shower this morning and now the broken squall line.
Muck throughout the day...
-
Well the cirrus clouds have gone and been replaced by grey muck but it was a nice morning.
Temp: 4.C
Also I saw two sundogs today ; a bright one on the right at around 9:00 and another one on the left , but not as bright at 10:00.
I'm sure this is a coincidence but today at roughly the time the sundog appeared I had a great time with a friend and then when it roughly disappeared they left.
Also the other time I saw a sundog this year was on Scilly on the most one of the most amazing walks of my life... Maybe they bring good luck

A chilly -2.C this morning. First decent frost with the first pond freeze of the year.
Mostly clear with a mix of Cirrus and Mackerel sky in the East.
Also my 100th post

Hit 0.C here overnight and has only risen to 0.5C.
There is a thin dusting of ice on the shed roof and it's the first de-icing for the car
The grass is slightly white but no major frost and there's a mackerel sky.

Just as a supposed snow flurry passed over on the radar nothing happened.
Still seen no snow for nearly three years but I'll hope.
-
That snow shower is teasing me so much
It's a few miles south of me but just too far away , in fact I can see the edge of the cloud right now.
Hoping that the showers over the Brecon Beacons will survive the journey to here.
-
A cool 4.C here now.
Hoping we'll see at least some sleet and the first real frost this weekend , fingers crossed .
-
Finally a pleasant day!
After the muck cleared this morning I can actually see the sun and the sky is nearly clear.
Temp is a cool 7.C

Winds getting real here now
The classing whistling sounds above my head and one bush looks like its about to blow away.
The roaring is constant and the gusts are much stronger than earlier.
However the wind isn't strong enough to move me and no blackouts yet so if those happened it'd be the perfect storm.
-
The winds really picking up now
The sustained wind is only a moderate breeze here (F4)
but the gusts are up to High wind (F7)
and as I speak a very strong gust just hit which was actually a little bit frightening

Apparently it was to keep consistency with the Atlantic Hurricane Naming System but all in all I doubt adding those letters would've made a difference.

That rain over north-west Wales has not moved for hours and is intense.
Potentially some very high rainfall totals there...

10.0C at 1430 now 5.9C after several showers blown through; Td=3.9C, some change over the past couple of days with a max of 18.8C on Tuesday!
I've just had a pretty cool temperature drop as well. It dropped 4.C in 20 minutes.

Wow
Best day of 2015... sorry
It all stated of grey and dull and I lost hope in the warning all there was was drizzle.
It must've been at 1:30 the first cell rolled in brining strong gusts and a wind chill of 2.5.C
The rain was amazing and you could see the wind dragging along the roofs ; it threw the plastic bags out of the skip.
It drizzled for a bit and then perhaps the best part was at about 2:50 up until 5 mins ago a second cell hit where
the sky turned so dark cars had headlights on and there was a double rainbow with supernumerary bands(3 to be exact.)
The temperature dropped to 4.C and pea-sized hail rained for 5 mins with sideways rain and it's just ended.
As you can tell I'm excited because in this area we haven't had anything nearly as good since last year
and sorry for poor grammar.
Also I'm surprised there was no thunder...

A nice day with the sun making an appearance which is quite rare this year.
Sky: Patches of blue sky and a mix of clouds.
Rainfall : 0mm , but some showers in the distance.
Temp : 9.C
Also a potential horseshoe vortex cloud today(a video I just watched looked exactly like it.) at around 8:20. It was long and thin and lasted for around half a minute.
