    See what your on about now.. The radar for me has just sprang into action North-East of Leeds.. Also using http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime aswell as NW radars.

    Came down extremely hard for about 10 minutes.. The garden rain gauge seems to think 43mm. What lightning maps are you looking at? I'm not picking up any around Leeds.

    I've been focusing on the storms crossing England today, but I just noticed how heavy some of the showers are in Northern Ireland and Scotland.

    Storms over Manchester areas getting heavy aswell..

    Watching the development on the Southern End of the storms crossing Peterborough.. They look to be giving some heavy downpours for some people. Update on last comment: The storms are heading in my direction.. Thunder maybe? The whole northern section seems to be developing quickly now.
