    Some of the posts on here are very silly all conditions are ripe for heavy snow from west london right through to the east coast on sat night,there is no rain forcast look at the upper temps forcast for sunday 3am!

    I have a contact at Heathrow airport runway operations they have agency guys approx 50 ready this weekend to clear the runways by hand and machine.They are expecting more than 6 inches of snow and all leave is cancelled

    Some of the runs from the states have this crossing the Atlantic straight in to Ireland into the west country across Middle England which would be the worst storm for 300 years. This could be bad but my feeling it will run into the west of Scotland equally as bad but saving the more build up population centres of the uk.

    come to think of it bread will be no good unless its frozen! when the power goes out in a few years it will defrost and go mouldy On a serious note The powers that be in this country will be spending a lot of time planning im sure for katla when it does go! 100 hundred times the power of this one!....

    I think it will aswell every time this one has blown katla has just after! Then we will be up to our neck in it the very north of scotland wont be a nice place to be! Might stock up on bread

    Yes just put our rubbish out and it is fffreezing :huh: We will get snow Tuesday evening then all the way to sunday on and off im going for a max this week of -12 i think i might get it!

    Anyone that wants to know it was -9 in Henley on thames this morning at 8am and never got above -2 all day. Currently -2 in Northwood north west London

    Excatly thats the point how do they know the exact movement of this down to the nearest town /area precip charts are allways 50-100 miles out in the direction they travel, this one is moving Ne-sw and it will hit the northern counties in london moving in to reading-swindon down the west country.
