    Heavy snow persisiting - another 2 cm added in the last hour.

    Hi, Light snow falling most of the afternoon, but has been heavy for the last 30 mins. Now settling on the roads.

    Hi. Regarding Sunday, we are expecting an Atlantic front to move in bringing snow on it's leading edge. However, Monday into Tuesday is looking more of a threat from a snow perspective. Cheers.

    Morning All, Incredible scenes up here - over a foot of snow, and it's still coming down. Roads are terrible. All eyes on Sunday now then!

    Afternnon All, Been on the Central England section, but am really more South West. We had a steady fall of light snow this morning which has given 2 inches of lying snow - it is now starting to pick up with much larger flakes. All this before the main event this evening!

    Hi, Snowing here for the last 20 mins - big flakes as well. Apears to be settling on the rooftops - could be very icy tomorrow morning.

    Hard frost last night down to -3c, but a lovely sunny day followed. Fog has now rolled in and temp down from 3c max to 0c.

    Snow has continued all day so far. Wind now picking up and just a hint of temps starting to rise.

    After yesterdays fall of around 10 cms, it is now snowing heavily again driven on by a moderate easterly. Very icey underfoot.

    Fantastic memories! I grew up in Swansea and remember this period of snow very well. The icey conditions were a wonder to behold and even the main roads were car free for a long time. I was working in a local hospital at the time and had to rely on the army to get me to work. I seem to remember a low night time temp of -11c being recorded at one stage.

    Very lighy snow here, bitter east wind, with temperature at 2c at 14 .00hrs

    Snow showers on and off today, following on from a 2 cm covering overnight. For the last hour we have had heavy snow which has now left a dusting. Phil.

    Hi, Heavy snow shower at 8 am which lasted for about an hour, giving us 1 cm of lying snow. Now mostly gone and a lovely sunny day, with a very blustery NWesterly.
