What a night! 4 large trees down out the front of my house. Has taken out 2 of my neighbours telephone/BB lines in the process.

Totally crazy. I would say there'll loads of traffic disruption through out the country by the morning.

Local Ballymena Facebook page showing trees down all over the place, with a number of roads blocked.

There are tentive signs that HLB may return as we enter Feb. Winters not over yet folks!

Hate to keep harping on about the TV forecasts, but both UTV and BBC NI are still bullish about all NI snow for Monday, and even more so for Tuesday.

The latest beb forecast saying only the far north of NI and Scotland have a "chance" of seeing snaw through Wed/Thurs. Chance being the operative word here!

Seems to be quite a lot of little disturbances heading our way from the N/NW on Monday. If there's no mild sectors we could turn white pretty quick!

Utv evening weather saying there could be snow as early as Monday. BBC NI saying possibly Wednesday.

Good point there. I think we'd need a good dumping of snow to make any real difference, grip wise that is. And way things are panning out at the minute , I very much doubt we are going to see that any time soon!

It'll be fun indeed. Lets just hope we'll all see some kind of snow fall before the nights out. It'll make it a wee bit easier to drive and walk in.

Nightmare! I dread to think what all the untreated roads and footpaths will be like in the morning. I don't know about everyone else, but its been raining off and on for the past 2 hours here on top of frozen ground.

More moans from me I'm afraid. Its currently minus 1.5 and the dew point is 0, yet it raining! Am I missing something?

What a total wash out of a night! Been lashing here constantly since 6pm Yet another lame duck cold forecast. Sorry for being a moan btw.

All being well, I'm heading up to Portrush with the family next Saturday for the week, and guess what the forecast is?.......yes RAIN for the whole week more or less. You couldn't make this stuff up!

Great forecasting by all the models today......NOT! Rained virtually all day with a max temp of 20. Maybe, and I stress maybe, 3 days of some sort of summer from tomorrow until Tuesday then back to usual dross of cloud and showers for the next 2 weeks!
