Anybody got any way of telling if its sleety that doesn't involve a naked ice dance outside or sticking my head out the window?
I don't know any other methods sorry

Anyone else on the SE coast, well its snowing in IOW, from the other regional thread, so if its snow there, then locations further east on the coast will definitely see some snow
I think you've hit the nail on the head

Just stopped raining although the radar says it should be pouring

Weather online is showing dew points of 1 in the SE and EA and negative dew points on the near continent. Hopefully the negative dew points will filter our way.
Eyes glued to the radar... its looking good!

@CanadianCoops I have to disagree with you there as I like the snow to stick around for a while which is why i'd personally go for option (c)

C'mon own up...you've been hanging around in the MOD thread too much? believe me 'anything is possible' if you look at that many charts and ensembles thrown up in there.
I must confess I have indeed been spending time in the MOD thread. I do think there's a slim chance for my region and as many have stated already its all extremely uncertain - even now.

if it snows i'll blame thank you. I wouldn't be surprised if Thursday is a bust too, really have to wait for an easterly to get rid of this marginally BS
im guessing that'll be a fair way through February, right?

Surely "Mild" has a subjective meaning

Do It , I Dare you , your reward is dump hole will get a foot of snow .
obviously I can’t promise you that

Oh my, this must be where all of the civilised folk have fled to! Reading the mad thread reminds me of being back at primary school . I'm looking forward to the next few days although there is a large amount of uncertainty on the events to come.
I think that's logical @snowray which means things have a chance of getting that bit more interesting!

Wow,can't believe this thread started on the 26th march, once that cold comes in,265 pages will be done in no time, looks like im going to have to water the plants later, that rain is not getting nearer to me at all, dull, mild and grey, beautiful
Speaking of action, there's talk of some elevated storms this evening so don't water your plants just yet!

Nothing here apart from passing anvils from storms further west. Unbelievable.

It's getting super dark now and wind is picking up, clouds are moving quite fast in a circling motion which is alarming
Try and get a video if you can!
