Now for the real dilemma....is it cruel to order a Dominos and expect them to deliver? Apparently my local one is still open for business lol
dominos delivery is beyond good. I can order a pizza and have it on the door step in 20 minutes. I dont know how its done.

Looking at the satellite images on SAT24, you can actually make out a distinct narrow band of more intense cloud that looks like a band or streamer headed in roughly the direction of the North East, poss Tyneside, maybe due in about an hour? Have a look, what do you think?
This is looking a bit better for Newcastle i feel.

Izi where in NCL are you? City centre is getting pasted where I am.
South Gosforth.
Seem to have missed most of the sustained snow. Showers of 5 minutes or less only.
There is about 2 inches on the ground at most, including the previous snow.
But to the north/south/west of us there are 5-6 inches widely. Just been in a narrow band of unluckyness!

Laid about 0.1cm down! lightning was good though.

First ever snow thunder i've heard.
There is as much blowing as there is snowing!

yep im 4 miles north of morpeth and completely missing everything. Oh well at least the car doesn't need cleaned off! lol
Its funny how locations do better based purely of wind direction. Easterly and northeasterly is good for Newcastle, SEasterly not so good.

See the streamer above us. Morpeth is under that and has had about 5" overnight. Was supposed to be taking my cat to the vets there this morning. Think I will cancel
Yeah, its the difference of 40 miles north / south. Newcastle has missed everything 'bad' so far. only an inch or two.

there’s nothing to watch other than that too the north-east scotland which was never sinking south in an easterly flow. the ‘streamers’ are tiny and not beefing up. snooze time.
