Great open skies here, hope you enjoy your time but keep away from the rivers, a lot of water working its way down from the Wolds, and Louth prone to flooding!.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louth_flood_of_1920

Clouds dispersed, looks like high pressure cap extending back into the area from the east. SE England appears to be a storm dud unless that very small, tired looking little cluster in France suddenly speeds north and turns into some kind of monster.
The only way to encourage this is to re-light our BBQ. That will ensure a catastrophic destabilisation of air mass over Surrey.
I'm roasting a chicken on my BBQ and all it has produced so far is a bit of moist mist, something is very wrong.

Accumulating in North Lincs now as the intensity of the sun has gone. Just put some stuff in the bin outside and the cold really made me skin throb.
I think drifting could be a nuisance but in Lincolnshire again, I drove across the wolds a week after the last snow and was amazed at the volume of drifts and ploughed snow on the sides of all the roads from Humberside airport to Thorpe St Peter.
Yes I'm up on the Wolds, and it is full blizzard for last half hour, visibility a few yards at most, very glad I'm not out in it, give it two hours I reckon the road will be cut off with drifts.

Without wishing to cause too much excitement in here but totally in line with my earlier post this PM I suggest that you all look at the following:
https://www.buienradar.nl/wereldwijd/europa/buienradar/3uurs
This is a 3 hr radar projection from the Netherlands rain radar and shows a large area of organised activity developing just off Ostend and the Hook of Holland that appears to be heading in our general direction as the winds start to veer more Easterly - the potential for some significant accumulations from that later this evening!
thanks for that, looks more positive for lincs.
please ignore the image below, I can't remove.

Just had a snowball fight everything off target, need a propranolol to calm my heart beat. had to be done.
I will sneak out later and build a stock pile.

Please ignore my 5am moan, I went back to bed and awoke to lovely heavy snow, the main road across the Wolds is covered too with compacted snow, my windows are splattered once I work out how to post pics ,will send some. It has stopped now but lovely tall towering clouds heading my way.

A big hug for everyone, we are all feeling the same I think, my hubby is so going to take the proverbial out of me (I took him out shopping for the bunker). Roll on massive thunder storms in the summer.
Yes I have snow, but for a while there was the chance that I would have seen head high drifts of my youth.

Jam out of your doughnut, love it will use it.
please continue your lovely positive posts, they give me a smidgen of hope. hope I will cling onto till Friday.
