  1. What is it about Bank Holiday weekends and rubbish bloody grot then always followed by nice weather as soon as its over, looks like usual sunless weekend with washout Sunday/Monday, this month was going well until a week ago, been cool cloudy dirge since then (sods law today was actually nice then bam  slate grey skies rolled in  to coincide with home time).

  2. Today wasn't as grotty as expected, reasonably bright with some spells of sun in the end high of 17c, unfortunately the muck properly arrived as I got home from work.

Fingers crossed cloud stays east of us this weekend, if it manages to might be decent-ish in the sun, next weekend a shocker, ^ 30th May is absolutely miles away yet but yeah Bank Hol = 2 atlantic low's minimum.

  3. Surprising day in the end, was dull grey and quite cool on break in work this morning and I thought id be coming home to washout showers.

Instead mostly clear skies came in from the east at 4pm only gradually hazing over through the eve (grey again now) and shot up to 23.5c.

  4. Oh joys of working indoors in a factory with no windows :nonono: gorgeous evening after finally got hope though...praying for westerly corrections for this weekend aka the GEM, beyond overdue a nice weekend here, not had one with both days 20c+ and sunshine since July 2014 now.

  5. A typical Wednesday, glorious blue skies and sunshine barely a cloud in the sky! now if only that could happen the weekend..big upgrades on the washouts of yesterday but still look like the most likely place to see downpours/storms..which believe it or not i'd rather avoid, much rather have a weekend in the garden.

Of course a big fat high pressure's going to arrive at work Tuesday - Friday and change to washout lows in time for the weekend, mark my words. Always happens, never get a high arrive for a weekend these days :nonono:had to suffer sitting in 10c last Saturday to get some sun!

In fact can see it now, 20c next Friday then washout Saturday!

Called it! back to blue skies Monday to topping it off I bet :wallbash:
