    At work, listening to people complain and watching the radar and lamposts at the same time....Women are great at multi tasking!!! Hoping that we will see some of the white stuff by 4am - thats when I get my break. What do you guys think? I am in Belfast city center. Cheers :lol:

    Snow on the ground at 0800 in Belfast and it lasted in the shade throughout the day. (Sorry it took me 12 hours to report.)

    Just had several flashes - One rumble so far - Not sure if it has finished -Hope not.

    Def lightning here, havent heard any thunder as yet and no rain since just after midnight.

    I was just going by what the Met office rainfall radar was showing...not the best measure I am sure but a girl has got to get hope from somewhere.

    Just confirming previous reports of thunder and lightening throughout the afternoon. Ballycastle (North Antrim coast) and Belfast. Still persistent rain and the odd quiet rumble. Looking at the radar we could be in for some more after dark....heres hoping!

    Storms from approx 2am until 4am - Hail, lightning, very loud thunder. Fantastic display.

    Hi katieloo, My mum suffers from athritis...she is in her late forties and she awears by acupuncture and swimming. She was so miserable before with the pain and now she only has one or two really bad days each month. I hope you feel better soon. xx ballybabe

    Just heard a long runble of thunder.....a few clouds around but sun is so strong its heard to see properly. B)

    Also in Belfast, Fantastic rolling thunder, getting louder. Light rain atm. No significant lightning observed so far.

    Any chance of storms in Northern Ireland today/tonight? Last night we had spectacular light show and the power went off for about 2 hours.

    I can assure you that even if the reply is standard all E-mails are read as all letters are read. This is part of the BBC's complaints procedure. If you are not happy with the response you recieve you are welcome to write again. Just make sure you say that you were not happy with the first response. I am sorry that you all feel that the BBC is Dumbing Down its forecasts but if they are so dumb then how come so many of you don't understand them?
