Well that was a exciting commute home from Brecon , this was just below penyfan , there was a traffic standstill just ahead so stopped to get a snap ! Rear wheel BMW is rubbish in blizzard conditions, however this is the first proper wintery weather I've encountered over the Beacons down into Brecon this winter. I drive over and back 3 times during the week .

Sleeting here , temperature dropped to 4 degrees!

Absolutely! I've seen rain forecast when we've got a good bit of snow instead , we have a different system over these hills. Fingers crossed for a flurry or two!

I'm staying away from the mad thread , it's ridiculously childish . The models are all over the place also , you'd think with all of today's technology it would be giving out accurate reports! Think we need to go back to early 80s style forecasting with the magnetic symbols . Anyway let's just see at least it's cold , hopefully we'll get the snow next week , Wales has a different system , we get rain even when it's not forecast .

It's definitely a rollercoaster in the crazy thread ! Why can't people just enjoy the current cold weather ? Surely the saying get the cold in first ? Cold and dry has to be better than the lashing rain of the last month ?

I was born late in November , we've always had the first snow around this time . I can remember a few snow events here in late November especially around my birthday, not a significant spell however there was disruption to some extent each time .

The chase begins ! Let's hope we get some winter this year , looking forward it !

This summer has been horrendous it's like spring / autumn weather . Are we going to get any decent warm sunny weather ?

Looking good guys , I work in Brecon so the commute weds and Thurs may not be possible ! Also can we be nice , some will have a lot more snow than others due to their location so need to prepare! I've just sent the hubby for the usual bread , milk and potato run maybe it's time to get excited! Ps I've seen rain forecast many of times that have turned into whiteout snow days transport and schools closed etc ! The valleys are a different kettle of fish

I've recently had issues with my car sensors , abs warning lights the works ! Common occurrence with BMW absolute nightmare!

It's coming down here , I work in Brecon friends say it's snowing heavy there also !
