Just seen the BBC forecast, Jesus those new graphics really are crap.
All I could see was lots of clouds floating around, are they meant to be snow or just clouds.
I am supposed to believe plenty of snow was forecasted yet they were showing what appeared to be bugger all sat night.
Exactly what I saw on the meto, hope they're wrong would love to see some more of the white stuff but I'm loosing hope ?

Not sure what you watched. Lates forecast on MetO website makes a big deal about the two amber warning areas, one of them in the SE.
Go to the meto YouTube channel. Last few forecast barely bat an eyelid in our area...

I seem to have been downgraded on everything not to sure if that is happening across the whole of the SE. What are you lovely peoples thoughts
Yes as I mentioned earlier the meto forecast mentioned snow in the east but had no real concern for SE. Think the amber "member" shaped warning shot a bit early. Nothing much happening I think. Please though someone prove me wrong with evidence rather than "don't know what you were watching" check the meto YouTube channel forecasts for yourself

Just watched the meto forecasts. They didn't mention the SE once. Central eastern was their focus. Maybe a downgrade on the amber for us coming and also couldn't see any significant snowfal on their graphics. Hope I'm wrong but they didn't seem in the least bit concerned.
Someone tell me I'm wrong please?

With the slight corrections further north and apparent lack of ppn, what areas should be expecting to see snowfall this weekend?

Any chance people could stop using a weather forum to discuss drugs?

Just had a quick peep I don't think it's the possibilities of snow falling that has shifted north.
A few of the models today push the actual high pressure further north, which maybe might extend the cold spell, as before that high was predicted to move South lot faster and shunt the coldest of the air out.
So snow wise nothing has shifted north it's only the length of the cold spell that could possibly change.
Regards ??
Thanks, that makes a lot more sense to me now

A lot of chat on the mod thread about stuff moving north and other regional threads seem to be getting busy. Did we get excited to early or will we still have a chance of snow in the SE. Can't understand the mod threads yet! ?

Streamer seems to be shifting NW now, snow getting lighter across east London and Essex.
Stopping for us now then? Not that we can complain. Loughton is covered with the white stuff

The snows seems to gain intensity as it comes onshore in Essex and moves west to London.
Reckon we're due any more today in the Loughton/chingford area?

Hey, im supposed to be driving from Loughton (Essex) down to Deal on Friday. Is there any chance of me doing this with the current setup?
-
Also seems to be big downgrades on meto for the next couple of days + Thursday and fri. Where did the Amber warning go? ???
-
Any chance of the Loughton area getting anything?

Any long term predictions for east kent over the bank holiday weekend? I'm supposed to be camping!

Ooops thanks for the reminder. Based on what i've seen in this and the model forum I would say 16% sounds very low?
-
I'm seeing online predications of snow falling at only 16%. Is this a true reflection? What would you say the percentage chance is?
