    Severe ground frost and car covering this morning! Sadly my weather station has packed up, just days out of it's 1 year warranty.. Has anyone else has problems with Oregon instruments??

    Pretty omnimous clouds and precipitation visible up toward the M11, and over in West Hampstead direction.. I can see out to about 20 miles from Canary Wharf, really fascinating stuff

    Snow flurries at West Hampstead this morning as I passed through around 7.15am.. Looking darker out to the east as I look from Canary Wharf, visibility good across London, just a bit hazy.. Did notice a profusion of seagulls this morning at home, which may signal bad weather coming inland

    Wow!! Me & Mr Snowshoehare were enjoying a lie in before driving up north for a party, he was wanting to take his rear wheel drive car which has a flat battery.. We just pulled back the curtains to see lovely settled snow!! About 1 inch.. where did that come from?? Temperature outside currently 1.9 and overcast, so slow thaw may be beginning.. Lovely surprise, not sure whether more is expected? Can anyone fill me in quickly? Cheers

    In Garstang Lancashire today, seems to nbe a frost day.. sunny with still frost on roofs, we also had snow flurries, but nothing seems to be forthcoming from the trough of bowland.. .. drat.. Last year we were in Kent and it snowed here, this year we're in Lancashire and Kent is getting it ..

    Clear frosty morning.. a low of -1.8 last night, still below freezing this morning.. There was a thick frost on cars last night at early as 8Pm... Lovely!!

    Thick ground frost.. almost fell down stairs outside flat! Must have got down to at least -2 last night, but forgot to check weather station in mad rush out the door! Now at work - canary wharf - crystal clear skies with not a cloud visible!

    Min last night of +0.5 which is chillier than expected.. Foggy and +3.5 when off to work this morning

    Got down to -4.3 again last night, now only 4.9, Was still freezing at 10.30am with sun shining.. Lovely!

    Wow! Went to work this morning and it was -4.4, the lowest it got down to last night was -4.7!! Thick ground frost for the first time in absolutely ages!! Clear skies again!!

    Earlier today temps were up to 5oC.. and 'lo and behold' it started to snow here heavily around 12ish lunchtime.. Of course it didn't stick.. but was extremely bizarre.. the last thing I expected..

    Central London - Euston Underpass Got to say.. very odd, a sudden HEAVY downpour turning quickly from Sleet to Snow to Rain!!!! Can't seem to make it's mind up!! ... hmmm.. Completely unexpected.. Is anyone else in London experiencing this?? Not sure what temps are, but would have thought it's much too mild.. :blink: :blink:
