  1. Were looking at the NW radar were watching what is actually happening, perhaps its just having a little rest and will move north later. But for the last 2 hours its not made a lot of progress. Anyone else see this as well, or is it just me.
  2. Morning Whats your take on the NW radar then. The main band seems stuck around Hereford, and is breaking up, also shows little signs of any Northern progress. I think that is what is concerning a lot of people in the Midlands
  3. I have been watching the radar for the last 2 hours. It does seen to be stalling and worst still, breaking up, around the Hereford area. No real sign of any northern movement
  4. We need everything pushed back south by at least 100 miles. Hoping for an upgrade
  5. BBC Weather, not as yet buying into the snow to rain scenario, as sugested by the gfs. Still going for a full day of snow for most areas
  6. \BBC Weather going for max 1c and heavy snow for your area !!!!
  7. I must say I think your on to a loser there. Depends what time the snow arrives of course. I would expect there to be substantial lying snow in the south, central, and North Midlands also mid and North Wales. Southern England and the SE looks less likely, but cant be entirely ruled out.
  8. Nothing here in the West Midlands, nothing expected tonight. It is however the coldest night of the winter so far at -5.2c. At least the ground will be nicely frozen for whatever arrives later in the week
  9. I will take it as it stands, although it would be even better if the mild air could hold off a bit longer. But pretty good for this area even so.
  10. No, not a flake here in the West Midlands all winter
  11. Well you wont be missing anything then, will you
  12. How quick things can change, yesterday it was a southern event, now it seems like rain for the south, with the good stuff much further north
  13. Just goes to show, the charts cant really see much further ahead than3 or 4 days, with any great accuracy. Chop and change, may just as well stick your head out of the window, if you want to know what its going to do lol
  14. Looks like rain or sleet south of Birmingham, snow most likely over higher ground in Notts and Derbyshire
  15. Desperate times indeed. I guess even a flake or two is better than nothing lol. Nothing here in the midlands 3.7c 1034 70%H overcast. We had our snow in November and at xmas
