Still foggy, temperature has risen slowly since my last report, currently sitting at a steady -0.4 degrees Celsius. I am expect the temperature to rise above 0 degrees tonight (a break from the last 2 days), still I should look on the bright side, at least it helps my fight against frozen locks on the car in the morning .

Look like we could be set for our 2nd sub zero day in a row. We still have heavy persistant fog, despite assurances from the MET office that it would lift (if anything it is worsening). Visibility is still down to approx 15 metres or so in some places. The current temperature is -0.8 degrees Celsius. Get in there :blush: !!

Well what can I say, this has been the harshest day I have seen for a while. We had freezing fog all day and the temperature has also been below freezing for its entirety. The drive home from work was to put it frank a little on the scary side (people up your backside on the motorway when the visibilty is down to about 5 metres in places ). Brrr, the temperature has dropped quite sharply here. A slight frost has started to appear and we are running at a current temperature of -0.8 Celsius.

Temperature finally dropped to below freezing at about 2am ish (-1.8 Celsius to be exact) which gave us a slight ground frost. Temperature is still lowish but above freezing. The frost is holding on in places and the sun is shining (clear skies).
