Yes, it must be Scotch Broom. I always seem to have trouble identifying it by name. These guys will be in shock if we get a real good cold spell.
If its the one that grows wild across the country and is an instrument of pain unparalleled by any other (including childbirth I'm led to believe), then its a wynds bush.
Vicious wee brutes they are.

Nice shower of snow here now been on for last ten minutes. Thickening up a bit and a steady fall. Now if it could just keep that up.

Hey Snowydog.
i think we caught the edge of that. Had big fluffy flakes for a minute or so. Looked fairly heavy stuff heading your way.
My youngest is sick with this weird weird flu thing going about and is desperate to get out. We've compromised on an episode of peppa pig with snow in it.

It's a bit Baltic in the wind out there. My wife has this flu thing kicking around so I'm taking time off to look after her.
Fortunately I'll be at home to watch the snowfall. Fire lit already.

I work with her partner, don't think she has a bias.
Snow showers here every 45 minutes or so, was lying early this morning on roofs etc, nothing lying now though.
It is good snow though, you can tell by the way it floats about in the wind. Snow goes up, then comes down.
Good to see on Watcher!!

Radar showing sections of sleet appearing.
snow is melting but still great to see it falling.
-
