Current blob looks like it will affect anywhere from Ayr northwards going by the radar sequence. Let's hope it maintains its Intensity and that it is of snow.

Looks like that polar low is going to hit Ayrshire going by the latest meto forecast. The question is will it be snow that falls? Or rain?

Only rain here in Irvine, got a wintry mixture all night of rain, sleet, hail and wet snow :/ -
Dont rule anything out, the temperature is dropping and I wasnt expecting any wintryness till after 12 anyway.

Could someone explain to me what conditions are needed for Snow tonight? Its currently 3C here with a dewpoint of 2C but both are falling?
