Very fine hail at moment but it' settling. The sky looks full of it. Hope it turns to heavy snow.

I'm finding the change over with the BBC very confusing, there's a substantial difference between the Met Office and MeteoGroup's interpretation of the forecasts and not just with the apps but with the TV weather segments as well. It's as if the presenter is displaying MeteoGroup's charts and forecasts but is actually referring to the MetO's forecast. Words and visual's don't seem to match up.

I completely gave up on this past week after last week through frustration but we got a measly 2-5cm... the cold gets in but either after or before precipitation has departed for anything more meaningful... I’ll give up and look forward to summer if nothing materialises in the next month..... by summer we will probably have northern blocking and 12-15c....
Dont give up. The unexpected can really happen.
