    Viruses need to attach to cells to infect them, and they do this by binding to specific receptors on the cell. If a virus can’t attach, it can’t infect.

    rain setting in here in Mytholmroyd as the Army begin dropping of sand bags and plugging any holes in the flood wall they find....... this is not a good feeling being a mere few metres from all the action you'll no doubt be watching on the news later

    Stay safe folks and do not enter flood waters!!!

    you never know what it is contaminated with and what is lurking in the murky waters (Grids/culverts with missing ironwear etc?)

    I have a similar problem but mine is a Neuro Degenerative disease and I am mostly housebound, will do my best to avoid this one if possible.
