  1. Thank for the advice guys... :)

My main reason for wanting to do this course is for myself, not to get a job out of it...

I have looked into the ones at reading uni, and dont think they are sutiable for me..

I dont want it for the letters after my names, just more knowlege and undertsnading of meteorology.

  2. Yes according to the current fax chart, but looking at tomorrows it looks rather complicated.

It look like its our turn for some rain then :o

I hope its nice normal just P you off cos its dull rain and not that nasty gate crashing rain we have bee seeing of late on the Mainland :(

    cheers Russ

always the way, tomorrow i have no car, so looks like i will be getting wet..

You reakon we will get any storms with it?

  3. I have just got back from Culver the Eastern most point on the IoW, I didn't bump into Kelly, there were quite a few cars up there.

I saw several flashes from the E and SE, from what I can tell its the stuff of off Beachy head.

The flashes were through a lot of rain, they looked like round explosions from my viewpoint, they were quite dull orange white. Vague rumbles interspersed with the odd loud bang that was short and sweet which was odd. One more thing there was low level mist rising off of the ground all the way down to sea level as I drove home, it made the road ahead look spooky :o
