Believe it or not we are only 3 weeks from the spring equinox, the sun is emitting IR, it is at a higher altitude than it is late December and I think different substances absorb IR better than others. That's why snow on concrete and tarmac melts quicker than on grass and vice versa, snow accumulates quicker on grass.

There was just a dusting in Eccles and Sale today.
I'm north West of Manchester and not seen as much like Oldham, Rochdale etc.
The showers seem to die a death around the Bolton area

In all my years I've never seen winter hill with no snow or very little. Yet all winter the hills to the east have had a covering whenever we've had snowfall.. very confusing

These showers type setups really don't float my boat. Give me an alantic front coming in and hitting cold air. 8-10 hours of heavy snowfall

Had a mega snow storm about 4pm..not seen snow fall like that since 2010.
