PW..
Puzzled by your location.
South staffs I always thought was central/south west of Wolverhampton?
Yet you say here South Bham?
MIA
I thought he meant that the snow would be for south of Birmingham again?

Scrap that, they just updated
-
Met office removed all weather warnings now

Just as a reminder, the apps are not manned by humans, they just give and indication based on the models, which if you’ve looked you’ll know have great difficulty in predicting snow

Stourbridge Road/Drews Holloway always bad in weather like this, Mucklow Hill and Furnace Hill also stuff, everywhere out of Halesowen either up or down a hill
I live just by Drew’s Holloway, I’m going nowhere tomorrow regardless of what falls overnight, it’s lethal as it is!

When I look at the radar all the yellows are gradually moving west, I think at best we may get some green but it’s pretty much been blue the whole time imo here
I’m only in Halesowen, it may not be giving snow depth, but it’s sure causing major problems, my street is now blocked and Stourbridge road is stationary in both directions

When the wind drops I can see it’s now ‘proper’ snow, rather than the funny stuff that has been raining down all afternoon, it’s prope flakes, goodness knows what we will wake up to, it’s like the day after tomorrow ?

At this stage I wouldn’t be looking at models, I would look at the radar, and out of the window which will probably give the best indication. Mad weather

It’ll be an absolute miracle if my car makes it through the night!

Please don’t let there be freezing rain here, that really is the pits! Try scraping that I need to control my language of your windscreen, no chance!
He he, I even tried to make it say something other than I was, and it still auto corrected!

Oh and my brother works in Netherton but lives in stourbridge, he’s still waiting for a bus, told him to walk to me in Halesowen, has to be marginally less far to walk!
-
Someone I know has just had to abandon their car and walk the rest of the way, between old hill and quarry bank

I deliver training courses and have just text all 12 of my delegates warning them that tomorrow is likely to be a no go, we are travelling into Brum city from Coventry, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Halesowen and various other out lying areas

If only I didn;t have a stinking cold that I just can't seem to shift - particularly a killer cough - I might be enjoying this ..... Oh, what the hell, despite having a stinking cold that I just can't seem to shift - particularly a killer cough - I am going to enjoy this
Me too!! But given that it’s likely a snow day tomorrow who cares? ?

just seen pics of Solihull town centre looks grid locked
Same goes for some of the roads in my old home town of Halesowen
Mayhem in Halesowen, and has been for the last hour, main roads treacherous, sadly I can’t upload pics

Ooooo a night of lamppost watching to come ?

Unbelievable, considering it’s just this fine stuff that appears to be blowing around my road is now properly covered and seriously dangerous, and it’s been gritted all week!

I know the apps are rubbish, but met office now showing heavy snow all night!
