Still snowing here, albeit the flakes are small. 6cm on cars and about 4cm on pavements. Much less on the road where it's wetter.

Pretty pleased, really! Reaching 5cm in Bewdley is not a common occurrence -- this is the first time since March 2013.

Really hoping those of you who missed out today will join the fun on Sunday!

Me to, but my work depends on the weather im a window cleaner and use a water system so if it gets too cold all my pipes freeze no money for me. Snow is not too bad just if temp stays below freezing... 1 or 2 degrees its fine.

    So a poison chalice!

Love snow and cold winters and we never get them but also is bad for work.

Still hoping for snow can catch up on work it hardly ever snows here.

    2010 last decent winter.

  2. Well it was pretty rubbish in end for me thats the lot for the night none of it settled. When you have such a Good forecast and then it downgrades hour apon hour is abit gutting.

Temp due point conditions and forecast were all great which was worst bit.

Nothing on radar for time being.

Have this sinking feeling about sunday and onward for same old story.

Would love to be proved wrong on the day.

Congrats to all that had a decent amount.

Just hope these brilliant early winter charts arent duds in the long term.

Can you put your location in your profile?

Nothing too personal as you can just say Birmingham or Staffordshire if you like.

In the current situation, the BBC forecasts can drive you insane!

    MIA  .

    Done.

Yes the bbc are very annoying. Looks like might get a slight dusting maybe. Concerned about the low on sunday will track futher north too.

    Time will tell.

    Temp 2.2 due point -3.3

Anybody else in here from Notts / Derbys??

Burton upon trent. Here I have been browsing the Mod thread religiously for last few weeks I can't believe these models are actually coming off.

Anyways we usually miss the good stuff here hoping that's not the case this weekend.

I will not hold my breath and take a pesimistic veiw. Then I can be supprised haha.

First post long time lurker thought I'd be better off posting in here than the strict Mod thread.

Used to live in oxfordshire missed it all then too.

Looks like me might have an actual winter on our hands instead of an extended mild rainy autumn til March.
