    Managed to get -4.0C last night. Now a lovely sunny winters day. Currently -2.3C

    -2.0c here. Frozen slush and very icy on untreated surfaces. I fear the NHS could be busy tomorrow

    Snow stopped. Temp now 0.0C--gritters been up the road earlier. All main routes seem OK. Now for the freeze tonight!!! As has been mentioned, altitude often makes the difference in these marginal situations and in our part of the world, Heathfield and Crowborough benefit from this.

    Sidsnake About 20 mins ago, traffic was moving fine in High St. As she travels by bus, might be wise to get 251 rather than 252 as quicker journey and avoids Rotherfield and its lanes. Might be wise to make a move now as radar looks like snow for a while yet
